One hundred and fourteen runs. Four wickets. An unbeaten 89-run partnership. And a maiden CPL title. In this episode of Sports TV, we break down the dramatic 2026 Caribbean Premier League final, where the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons defeated the Jamaica Kingsmen by eight wickets at Kensington Oval to win their first-ever CPL title. The Kingsmen appeared to have a match-winner in Maaz Sadaqat, who produced a spectacular 114 off 58 balls, including eight fours and nine sixes. He became the first batter to score a century in a CPL final, but his extraordinary innings was largely a solo effort as Jamaica finished on 170/9. The turning point came when Sufyan Moqim entered the attack. His 4/14 spell dismantled the Kingsmen middle order, helping turn a position of 110/2 into 113/6. Moqim's spell restricted Jamaica's momentum and ultimately left the Falcons with a target they could chase comfortably. The Falcons' chase was then paced superbly by Amir Jangoo and Hasan Nawaz.
