A UN fact-finding mission says there are reasonable grounds to believe the United States carried out two February strikes on civilian sites in Iran that constituted war crimes. The investigation examined a strike on a primary school in Minab, which killed more than 150 people, including children, and a separate strike on a sports facility in Lamerd that killed 22 civilians, according to the report. The findings were released Thursday, Sept. 17, and presented to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on Monday, Sept. 21.
