Ed Sheeran has been called "cowardly" and "totally pathetic" after apologising to fans following the controversy surrounding him, rapper Macklemore and Palestinian supporters. Speaking directly to fans before opening his show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sheeran said he had never wanted to be "an activist musician" but that the situation had placed him "in the middle of an important and passionate argument about freedom of speech and the most complex political issue on the planet." He also warned that venues should never pre-approve the content of performers, saying it "should never happen in the free world." Speaking to GB News' Ben Leo on The Late Show Live, Green Party activist Ashok Kumar said the singer only cared about "losing some money." #EdSheeran #Macklemore #Palestine #Gaza #GBNews Keep up to date with GB News at gbnews.com or on X @GBNEWS Become a Friend of GB News: gbnews.com/friend
