US President Donald Trump met New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani at Gracie Mansion ahead of Trump’s address to the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting marked the third in-person meeting between Trump and Mamdani since Mamdani’s election, following previous talks at the White House. The mayor’s office said the discussions would focus on issues affecting New York City and its residents, while the White House confirmed the meeting without providing further details. The meeting comes as world leaders gather in New York for UNGA and amid ongoing policy differences between the Republican president and the Democratic mayor. Trump is also scheduled to hold several bilateral meetings during his UN visit and deliver an address to the General Assembly. --- Donald Trump | Zohran Mamdani | Trump Mamdani Meeting | New York City | Gracie Mansion | United Nations General Assembly | UNGA 2026 | US Politics | Trump LIVE | Mamdani LIVE | White House | New York Politics | Firstpost #donaldtru
