US President Donald Trump praised New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani after the two held talks in Manhattan, marking their third public meeting since Mamdani won last year’s mayoral election. Trump, who previously criticised Mamdani, said he hoped the new mayor would be “a great one” and was “off to a start”. The pair discussed immigration enforcement and a proposed 12,000-home housing project that could require an estimated $21 billion in federal funding. Mamdani said he would continue engaging with Trump despite their political disagreements. --- Donald Trump | Zohran Mamdani | New York | USA | UNGA | NYC Politics | US Politics | Immigration Enforcement | $21 Billion Housing Plan | Firstpost #donaldtrump #trump #mamdani #zohranmamdani #donaldtrump #newyork #nyc #uspolitics #newyorkmayor #immigration #firstpost Firstpost is an Indian news and media website.
