Flights have resumed to and from New York City-area airports after technicians repaired data lines that failed at a key regional air traffic control center in Philadelphia. That failure caused hours of flight disruptions and cancellations on Monday. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said delays may continue despite the repairs. President Donald Trump is set to address the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday. His speech comes as concerns grow over the war with Iran and the global economy. Trump plans to meet with leaders from the U.K., Japan, and Venezuela after his speech. And North Korea says its latest missile tests involved a new weapons system, indicating it launched a missile previously described as hypersonic. State media quoted North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as saying the weapon’s development would strengthen the country’s war readiness.
