MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal has rejected Pakistan’s claims surrounding a purported arbitration ruling, accusing Islamabad of “misrepresenting facts” and propagating “falsehoods” for what he described as malicious propaganda. Jaiswal said the decision being cited by Pakistan was not a ruling by the Permanent Court of Arbitration, and reiterated India’s position that the concerned Court of Arbitration was “illegally constituted.” He accused Pakistan of attempting to “distort reality” and said New Delhi’s position on the issue remains unchanged.
