Piers Morgan has announced legal action against Earl Spencer over claims made about him in the new Princess Diana memoir, Swan Song. Morgan says Spencer wrongly linked him to the publication of controversial photographs of Diana in 1993, pointing out that he did not join the Daily Mirror until two years later. He is demanding corrections and says any damages should go to The King’s Trust. Rafe Heydel-Mankoo says the disputed claim raises wider questions about the accuracy of Spencer’s other recollections in the book. Jeremy Kyle speaks with New Culture Forum senior fellow Rafe Heydel-Mankoo. Have you got a story?
