Turkey has detained more than 200 people in a major investigation into an alleged international investment fraud network accused of stealing more than $3 billion. Turkish pro-government media has gone further, alleging links between the network and Mossad, though Turkish prosecutors have described the case as a fraud investigation. Israel has rejected previous Turkish Mossad allegations. The case comes as tensions between Ankara and Tel Aviv remain high amid the wider regional conflict.
