US President Donald Trump takes centre stage at the United Nations General Assembly as the Iran war, global security and America’s role in the world dominate his address. With the conflict nearing its seventh month, Trump defends his Iran strategy and argues that U.S. military action was necessary to stop Tehran from developing nuclear weapons. Trump also turns his attention to the wider global order, taking aim at international institutions and speaking about America’s approach to ongoing conflicts. Then comes a striking moment: Trump tries to taunt Vladimir Putin, but suddenly stops and switches his focus to Iran. The sharp pivot puts Tehran back at the heart of his UNGA message, as Trump doubles down on his defence of the Iran war and his pressure on the Iranian leadership. Watch Trump’s full UNGA address and the key moments from his speech. --- UNGA | Donald Trump | UNGA | United Nations General Assembly | UN General Assembly | Greenland | Denmark | US Greenland Deal | Greenland S
