Yemen’s internationally recognised government forces said they targeted Houthi fighters and supply lines near the Bab al-Mandeb Strait and in al-Bayda, while also reporting that a Houthi drone was shot down in southwestern Taiz province. The developments come as fighting continues along Yemen’s western coastline and tensions remain high around the strategic Red Sea waterway. Yemen’s prime minister has described the Houthi gains along the coast and control of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait as a “highly critical situation”. The renewed fighting is also raising concerns over food security, with the World Food Programme warning that further escalation could deepen hunger and hardship in Yemen. --- Houthis | Yemen | Saudi Arabia | Iran War | West Asia Conflict | Middle East Conflict | Yemen War | Houthi Rebels | Houthi Drone | Bab Al-Mandeb | Yemen Forces | Houthi Fighters | Iran War Update | Red Sea Crisis | Yemen Conflict | Middle East Crisis | Firstpost #yemenwar #houthi #houthirebels #b
