Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico called for an extraordinary European Union summit on Tuesday to address soaring petrol and diesel prices, which he described as “astronomical.” Fico criticised the bloc’s response to the economic effects of the Ukraine and Middle East conflicts, arguing that EU member states were bearing the costs of higher energy prices and support for Ukraine. He said the EU should seek a common European response to the fuel crisis as prices rise following disruptions to regional oil supplies and shipping routes. #robertfico #slovakia #europe #eufuelcrisis #fuelcrisis #fuelprices #dieselprices #petrolprices #europeanunion #eu #brussels #ukrainewar #ukraine #middleeast #oilcrisis #energycrisis #straithormuz #babalmendeb #geopolitics #europeanpolitics Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.timesnownews.com/world 📱 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/timesnow.world 🐦 Follow us on X: https://x.c
