French President Emmanuel Macron has pressed US President Donald Trump to accelerate missile interceptor deliveries to Ukraine while discussing a possible reciprocal Russia-Ukraine moratorium on attacks against energy infrastructure. Ahead of his meeting with Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Kyiv is seeking additional SAMP/T air-defense systems and missiles using EU loan resources, while France and Ukraine explore joint production and the FREYJA anti-ballistic programme. With winter approaching, the Trump-Zelensky talks could put Ukraine’s energy security, air defenses and the wider Russia-Ukraine war at the center of renewed diplomatic efforts. #ukraine #zelensky #trump #macron #russia #russiaukrainewar #ukrainewar #sampT #missiles #airdefense #energytruce #ceasefire #nato #europe #geopolitics #war #putin #kyiv #moscow #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.timesnownews.com/worl
