US President Donald Trump has warned Iran it could face "annihilation" without a US deal over the ongoing conflict, although he said he believed an agreement would be made after US mid-term elections in November. Trump said UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham is a man he can do business with as they met for the first time in New York. But he criticised the UK's plan to hand sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius - the islands which are home to a joint US-UK military base. Trump also met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines.
