Injustice 3 and Mortal Kombat 13 rumors just took another WILD turn, as Ed Boon has now directly responded to claims that NetherRealm Studios is currently playtesting Injustice 3, Mortal Kombat 13, AND Mortal Kombat 9, simply declaring all three “false” just MINUTES after my previous video went live. In this video, we’re breaking down Boon’s latest response, what he may actually be denying, and why the wording of the original question could leave a pretty massive loophole surrounding the recent Injustice 3 playtest rumors. The post specifically claimed NetherRealm is testing IJ3, MK13, and MK9 “right now,” while the alleged Injustice 3 playtest we previously discussed reportedly took place weeks earlier, meaning Boon’s response does not necessarily confirm that Injustice 3 itself isn’t in development. We also discuss the hilarious possibility of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe 2 suddenly entering the conversation, revisit Boon’s history of pushing back against rumors shortly before Morta
