Judge finds Tomasz Kosowski guilty of first-degree murder

Circuit Judge Joseph Bulone has found Tomasz Kosowski guilty of first-degree premeditated murder in the death of Largo attorney Steven Cozzi. Reading the verdict in open court, Bulone said the defendant is guilty of murder in the first degree as charged. Kosowski waived his right to a jury and represented himself through the trial, calling no witnesses and declining to testify. Cozzi vanished from his law office on March 21, 2023 and his body has never been found. Prosecutors confirmed they are seeking a death sentence.
