Prosecutors answered Kosowski's demand for a courtroom demonstration by pointing to blood in the tailgate and the wagon on video. The state said the chief medical examiner testified the wagon could be lifted into the truck, that Steven Cozzi's blood was found in the tailgate, and that surveillance shows the wagon in the truck bed. Prosecutors called a live demonstration histrionic and unnecessary, and argued a courtroom desk is nothing like a Toyota Tundra tailgate with a bedliner, on ground that rises where the truck was backed in.
