Conservative Party chairman Kevin Hollinrake warns that Britain needs “tough love” as rising government borrowing, a soaring welfare bill and weak economic growth pile pressure on the public finances. Kevin argues that ministers must cut the cost of government and welfare to reduce taxes, revive struggling businesses and fund Britain’s armed forces properly. He also accuses Andy Burnham of refusing to make the difficult choices needed to restore growth. The Tory chairman also responds to Britain providing military assistance to Saudi Arabia, questioning whether the Government can meet its commitments abroad while defence spending and border security remain under pressure. #UKDebt #WelfareCrisis #Conservatives Have you got a story?
