Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian delivers a fiery address at the United Nations General Assembly, striking back at the Trump administration as tensions between Tehran and Washington reach another explosive moment. Pezeshkian declared that Iran would not surrender in the war with the United States, while insisting that diplomacy remains the path toward ending the conflict. The speech came just a day after Donald Trump used his own UNGA address to defend U.S. military action against Iran and warn of further escalation if Tehran does not reach a deal. During Trump’s speech, most of the Iranian delegation walked out as he began addressing the Iran conflict. Then came the dramatic reversal: as Pezeshkian took the UNGA floor, the U.S. delegation walked out at the start of his speech. The moment underscored the deepening confrontation between Washington and Tehran as both sides continued to signal sharply different positions on war, diplomacy and the future of the conflict.
