“Acceptance is not surrender nor is it passive resignation. Acceptance is rebellion because I know the world in all its dark places and limits, and still choose, within it, to do what matters.” This talk explores how courage is found not in avoiding pain, anxiety, or hardship, but in choosing how we respond to them. Through powerful personal stories, Britney Soll challenges us to distinguish between real limitations and the fears that only appear to confine us. Ultimately, it is a call to embrace life's uncertainties, heal from past wounds, and defiantly choose hope, love, and purpose. Britney Soll is currently studying a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy and she is better known in Mauritius for her work with therapy dogs, but she have been on the scientist-practitioner psychologist trajectory for the last 5 years. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/te
