Mid-Autumn Festival or Moon Festival falls on 25 September in 2026. It's the second biggest festival for many Asian communities, following the Lunar New Year. Symbolising the end of the harvest season in the northern hemisphere, celebrations are also taking place in Australia. Asia News Week's Jason Fang caught up with celebrity chef Elizabeth Chong to find out about her memories growing up eating mooncakes with her family. #ABCAsiaNewsWeek #abcasiapacific Subscribe: http://ab.co/1svxLVE Note: In most cases, our captions are auto-generated. #ABCNEWS #ABCNEWSAustralia #ABCTheWorld #midautumnfestival #moonfestival
