In this first-grade English language arts (ELA) lesson, students will learn that stories have a beginning, middle, and end. They’ll explore how the beginning introduces characters and setting, the middle presents a problem, and the end shows the solution or what the character learns. Students will also practice sequencing events and identifying where they belong in the story. This lesson comes from Miacademy’s English Language Arts: Level B course.
