The Home Office has ordered an urgent review after two migrant boats reached the Kent coast without being intercepted in just two days. Twenty-one people were detained after one vessel reached Samphire Hoe near Dover, following another uncontrolled landing near Folkestone. A separate boat carrying 51 migrants also spent more than 30 hours at sea before those on board were brought to Dover. Ben Habib says the incidents show Britain has lost control of its borders and argues that the Government must take a much tougher approach to stopping boats entering UK waters.
