Narcissism is usually discussed as a negative trait, but is every form of self-focus necessarily harmful? This talk explores the lesser-discussed side of narcissism and how certain traits associated with it—such as self-confidence, ambition, self-belief, and the desire to achieve—can contribute positively to personal growth when kept in balance. Dr. Mohammad Yousaf looks at where healthy self-belief ends and unhealthy narcissism begins, offering a different perspective on how understanding ourselves can shape the way we grow, lead, and interact with others. Mohammad Yousaf is an Associate Professor by profession with a PhD in Urdu. He has written more than 10 drama serials for Khyber TV and PTV in Pashto. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
