We all have moments when we look at someone else and wonder, “Should that have been me?” For Ruitong (Alice), that question began with ballet—and with a friend whose progress seemed to reflect a path she might have taken. Drawing on that experience, this talk explores how hindsight can make unchosen paths look deceptively better, and why regret is often more complicated than deciding whether a past choice was simply right or wrong. Rather than erasing regret, by making it more specific, we may better understand what we still value, what we would actually change, and what remains possible now. 舞蹈爱好者 深外街舞社前副社 选择与后悔的观察者 This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
