U.S. military personnel were seen preparing the red carpet and walkway ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s arrival at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, with Chinese officials watching nearby. Xi was greeted on the tarmac by U.S. President Donald Trump as he began a three-day state visit to Washington. The reception marked an unusual protocol gesture, with Trump personally greeting Xi at the military base rather than waiting for him at the White House. Trump and Xi are due to hold talks at the White House on Thursday, with trade, critical minerals, artificial intelligence and global conflicts expected to feature prominently. #xijinping, #xi, #trump, #donaldtrump, #trumpxi, #trumpxisummit, #trumpximeeting, #uschina, #uschinasummit, #china, #usa, #uschina, #xiwashington, #xivisit, #redcarpet, #jointbaseandrews, #usmilitary, #tradewar, #criticalminerals, #rareearths, #artificialintelligence, #geopolitics, #worldnews Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and a
