Rahul Gandhi is set to address a press conference at 4 PM today amid the ongoing political controversy surrounding the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Gandhi has alleged that the “enemies of the Constitution” have been exposed and said that justice will be served, using the hashtag #VoteChori. The announcement comes as political tensions rise over reported objections raised by Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi during discussions related to SIR and other electoral matters. Reports have cited disagreements concerning Form 6, voter deletions and access to electoral-roll databases. The Election Commission has rejected claims that these objections represented institutional dissent, saying that operational queries and suggestions during the draft stage are part of its normal decision-making process. The ECI has maintained that all final decisions, including those related to SIR, were unanimous. With Rahul Gandhi’s press
