In this video, Firstpost explains how eight US Navy personnel aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group attempted suicide during its extended deployment supporting the US war with Iran. Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao disclosed the attempts, raising fresh questions about the mental health of American sailors, military morale, and the human cost of prolonged combat operations. The USS Lincoln spent 286 days at sea without a port call, as families raised concerns over harsh conditions, food shortages, and sailor well-being.
