Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), part of state-owned Rostec, has delivered upgraded Su-57 fifth-generation multifunctional fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces. UAC said the new configuration allows the aircraft to employ additional types of air-launched munitions. The Su-57 is designed to strike air, ground and naval targets, including in adverse weather and electronic warfare environments. UAC said combat experience in Ukraine has contributed to further modernization of the aircraft, while production processes are being continuously improved to maintain required delivery rates. UAC CEO Vadim Badeha said fulfilling the state defence order remains the company’s top priority as production is ramped up. #russia, #su57, #su57fighter, #su57upgrade, #russianairforce, #russianaerospaceforces, #rostec, #unitedaircraftcorporation, #uac, #fifthgenerationfighter, #fifthgenfighter, #militaryaviation, #fighterjet, #airpower, #weaponsupgrade, #airlaunchedmunitions, #ukrainewar, #ukr
