Iran has sharply criticised the UN for allowing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address the General Assembly, with Iranian diplomat Ali Hajilari accusing the body of betraying its founding principles. The remarks came after Mahmoud Abbas addressed the Assembly by video following a US visa dispute, while several diplomats walked out during Netanyahu’s speech. Netanyahu rejected accusations of genocide and defended Israel’s military actions. The ICC issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu in 2024, while the separate ICJ genocide case was brought against Israel, not Netanyahu personally. #iran #israel #netanyahu #unga #unitednations #iranisrael #mahmoudabbas #gaza #palestine #icc #icj #middleeast #irannews #israelnews #ungeneralassembly #benjaminnetanyahu #iranun #gazawar #middleeastcrisis Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
