WARDOGS doesn't necessarily do anything new within the FPS space. There is nothing here that you won't have seen before if you are well versed in the genre. However, it does include a huge variety of these tried and tested systems and executes each of them pretty well. While WARDOGS is not a perfect game, it is well worth checking out if you are looking for an addictive and rewarding experience that feels almost nostalgic in an era where FPS games increasingly rely on overly complicated gameplay systems that ultimately feel unsatisfying and tiresome.
