Most New Yorkers don't know how judges actually end up on their ballots and in courtrooms. NY1's Courtney Gross spent months investigating how this actually works. We found that process runs through closed-door dinners at a Brooklyn lobster house, party leaders calling the shots, a law firm that's made millions off the same courts it helped staff and a mayor who can skip the whole process and appoint judges on his own. When we asked the head of the Brooklyn Democratic Party about it, she hid behind a tablecloth instead of answering our questions. #NY1 #NYC #News -------- For more on this and the latest NYC news: http://specne.ws/mYRmLb Watch live news: http://specne.ws/YTliveSN Get the Spectrum News App on all your favorite devices: http://specne.ws/GetSNApp2
