Rival pro-Palestine and pro-Israel demonstrators confronted each other in New York on Thursday as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the 81st United Nations General Assembly. Police separated protesters as opposing crowds exchanged insults, waved Israeli, U.S. and Palestinian flags and held competing signs and banners over Israel’s military campaign in Gaza. The demonstrations coincided with Netanyahu’s speech, in which he defended Israel’s conduct in Gaza and rejected allegations of genocide. A separate sit-in near the United Nations resulted in about 100 arrests after protesters refused police orders to disperse, according to the NYPD. #netanyahu #israel #palestine #gaza #newyork #nyc #unga81 #unga #unitednations #protest #propalestine #proisrael #gaza war #israelgaza #middleeast #worldnews #geopolitics #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.timesnownews.com/world 📱 Instagram: h
