India has eased the documentation requirements for UK-origin goods seeking preferential tariffs under the India-UK CETA. Under the new CBIC clarification, a valid origin declaration from a UK exporter or producer will generally be sufficient, while Form-I will not normally be required with the Bill of Entry. Additional origin information can be sought if customs identifies risk flags. Importers also do not need to obtain confidential information from UK exporters, and the absence of such information alone cannot lead to denial of preferential tariff benefits. The changes are aimed at reducing compliance requirements and potentially making customs clearance smoother for eligible UK-origin goods. #ukfta #uk #india #goods #business #ndtvprofit For more videos subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/@NDTVProfitIndia Visit NDTV Profit for more news: https://www.ndtvprofit.com/ Don't enter the stock market unaware.
