French farmers covered multiple speed cameras with tarpaulins in the Yvelines department overnight in protest against soaring diesel prices. Footage showed activists associated with the Coordination Rurale farmers’ union wrapping cameras and painting slogans on the coverings. French diesel averaged €2.38 per litre on September 21, according to the data cited in the footage, around 27% higher than three months earlier and the highest level in the available national series since 2016. Similar actions targeting speed cameras were reported in other parts of France this week. #france #frenchfarmers #farmersprotest #diesel #fuelprices #fuelcrisis #frenchprotest #farmerprotest #yvelines #speedcameras #speedtraps #fuelprotest #dieselprices #franceprotests #agriculture #farmers #europe #europeannews #worldnews #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.timesnownews.com/world 📱 Instagram: https://www.instagram.
