Chinese President Xi Jinping departed Washington on Friday after a three-day state visit that included a formal summit with U.S. President Donald Trump, a state dinner and talks on trade, rare-earth minerals and artificial intelligence. Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan, boarded an Air China aircraft at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland as the visit concluded. The summit marked the second formal meeting between Trump and Xi this year, following Trump's visit to Beijing in May. The United States and China agreed to extend their trade truce, which had been due to expire on Nov. 10, although expectations for broader breakthroughs remained limited. Trump said in a message as Xi departed that "much has been, and will be, accomplished." #xijinping #donaldtrump #trumpxi #uschina #china #usa #washington #whitehouse #trumpnews #chineanews #xinews #summit #diplomacy #geopolitics #worldnews #breakingnews #internationalrelations #trade #airchina #taiwan In this Times Now World News report, we bre
