"I saw the blood all around him. I don't think I really hesitated; I just wanted to get to him as quick as I could." When Shannan Dunn saw a surfer in distress in the water at Glenfield Beach in Geraldton, he didn't hesitate to paddle to his aid. A keen surfer, Mr Dunn returned to the scene three days on from the attack to tell the ABC how it unfolded. He says he hopes to get back in the water soon, but is struggling to process what happened during the frantic rescue. By Chris Lewis via ABC Midwest and Wheatbelt.
