Sir Ranulph Fiennes’s stepson has said the police have not responded to pleas from the explorer’s family to help find him and check on his wellbeing. Alexander Millington-Cotes, whose mother Louise is Sir Ranulph’s wife and legal guardian, has told The Telegraph in his first sit-down interview that he has had “no luck” in persuading the police to take up the case. Sir Ranulph, 82, has not been seen in public for two years and since the start of this year Mrs Millington-Cotes, his second wife, has cut him off from friends and family. #SirRanulphFiennes #ExclusiveInterview #News #interview ► Sign up to the Telegraph's free new daily newsletter, From the Editor, bringing you the latest news, features and analysis from the Telegraph newsroom: www.telegraph.co.uk/customer/secure/newsletter/from-the-editor/?WT.mc_id=tmgoff_youtube_telegraphmain ► Get the latest headlines: www.telegraph.co.uk?WT.mc_id=tmgoff_youtube_telegraphmain ► Stay ahead with a Telegraph digital subscription
