Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Saturday that what he described as “metastases” of neo-Nazi ideology were visible in European Union and NATO countries, including Germany and the Baltic states. Lavrov also criticised U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and his team, accusing them of biased approaches, double standards and serving Western countries. He questioned why the principle of self-determination cited by the U.N. in discussions over Greenland was not similarly presented as an option for Ukraine, arguing that the two cases were being treated differently. Lavrov also accused the Kyiv government of violating fundamental human rights and international humanitarian law, saying such alleged violations were being ignored. #lavrov #sergeilavrov #russia #unga #unga2026 #un #unitednations #germany #nato #europe #europeanunion #baltics #nazism #neonazism #ukraine #ukrainewar #greenland #guterres #selfdetermination #geopolitics #worldnews #breakingnews In this Times
