Hundreds of thousands of people lined Paris' Champs-Élysées on Saturday to greet Pope Leo XIV as he travelled in the popemobile ahead of a large outdoor Mass at Place de la Concorde. The Vatican estimated that around 700,000 people attended the event, exceeding expectations and highlighting the Catholic Church's continued ability to draw large crowds in officially secular France. During the parade, Pope Leo blessed children and greeted worshippers waving flags and rosaries, while pilgrims from across France and beyond gathered in central Paris for one of the largest religious events held in the country in recent years. #popeleo #popeleoxiv #vatican #catholicchurch #catholic #paris #france #champselysees #pope #popemobile #mass #christianity #faith #religion #vaticannews #catholicnews #worldnews #breakingnews #parisnews #francenews #pilgrimage #church #europe #europenews #popevisit In this Times Now World News report, we break down the this topic: Stay connected with Times Now Wo
