Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi delivered a forceful speech at the United Nations, declaring that global trust in the UN has been severely damaged by what he described as the failure of powerful nations to uphold international law consistently. Araghchi sharply criticized U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing them of portraying victims as aggressors and defending what he characterized as unlawful actions against Iran. He also condemned economic sanctions on Iran, describing them as a form of “terrorism,” while rejecting U.S. claims concerning Iran’s nuclear program. Araghchi further argued that military action against Iran during ongoing diplomatic efforts represented a betrayal of diplomacy. His remarks also addressed the Gaza conflict and broader Middle Eastern tensions, adding to the growing diplomatic confrontation between Iran, Israel, the United States and their regional counterparts. #Iran #Araghchi #IranUNSpeec
