A powerful nor’easter is threatening the US East Coast with flooding, heavy rain, powerful winds and dangerous coastal conditions from Maine to Washington, DC. The FAA warned that strong winds could disrupt flights at all three major New York City-area airports, while Amtrak also warned of possible service disruptions across the Northeast. New York and New Jersey declared states of emergency, while major events including the Global Citizen Festival, Ed Sheeran concerts and baseball games were cancelled or rescheduled because of the storm. With winds reaching up to 55 mph in some areas, officials are warning of possible power outages, basement flooding and widespread travel disruption. --- Nor’easter Storm | NYC Storm | New York Flooding | East Coast Storm | New Jersey Emergency | NYC Flight Delays | FAA Flight Warning | Amtrak Disruptions | Coastal Flooding | US Weather | Firstpost #noreaster #northeaststorm #nycweather #newyork #newjersey #eastcoaststorm #flooding #stormwarning #f
