Protesters set up tents in central Madrid after a mass demonstration over Spain’s housing crisis on September 26, 2026. Tens of thousands marched through the Spanish capital, with the recent eviction of 87-year-old Maricarmen Abascal becoming a focal point of the protest. Demonstrators called for greater tenant protection and measures to address rising housing costs and evictions. Authorities and organizers gave sharply different estimates of the demonstration's size. #Madrid #Spain #HousingCrisis #MadridProtest #HousingProtest #Evictions #RentCrisis #SpainNews #Housing #Protest #DRMNews LIVE: Madrid Protesters Camp Out Over Spain’s Housing Crisis | AC15 Madrid housing crisis, Madrid protest, Spain housing crisis, Madrid housing protest, Spain eviction protest, Madrid renters, housing crisis Spain, Madrid tenants, DRM News USN ADORKNML4 ---------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to DRM News – your go-to source for breaking news and expert analysis on globa
