Two giant pandas on loan from the Chinese government landed in Atlanta Sunday to head to the city’s zoo. The pandas — a male named Ping Ping and a female named Fu Shuang — arrived on a FedEx flight from Chengdu, in southwestern China. Chinese leader Xi Jinping announced the rare loan on a state visit to Washington last week.
