Protesters gathered outside the office of Karnataka’s Chief Electoral Officer in Bengaluru and symbolically performed “funeral rites for democracy” in protest against the Election Commission. The demonstration comes amid reports that Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi had flagged several issues during the voter roll clean-up, including deletion of names. Election Commission officials, however, have said that decisions related to the pan-India Special Intensive Revision were taken unanimously. #electioncommission #sir #karnataka #voterrolls Thank you for watching our video!
