Pope Leo XIV urged greater protection for the sick, elderly and vulnerable during a Mass attended by about 150,000 people at the French shrine of Lourdes on Sunday, reaffirming his opposition to euthanasia and medically assisted dying. Speaking at the Catholic pilgrimage site known for reports of miraculous healings, Leo warned against what he called efforts to redefine the value of human life in illness, suffering and old age. The visit formed part of the pope’s four-day trip to France and came amid ongoing debate over assisted-dying legislation recently approved in France and other countries. #popeleoxiv #lourdes #france #vatican #catholicchurch #christianity #religion #faith #euthanasia #assisteddying #worldnews #breakingnews #pope #catholic #sanctityoflife #frenchnews #ourladyoflourdes #vaticannews #pilgrimage #europenews In this Times Now World News report, we break down the this topic: Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read fu
