Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says it has seized a second US underwater drone in the Strait of Hormuz, claiming the vehicle was intercepted during a reconnaissance mission through a coordinated intelligence and electronic warfare operation. Iran initially identified the system as a REMUS 600 and later referred to it as a Mk 18 Mod 2 Kingfish, saying military experts were extracting its data. US Central Command has denied the claim, saying Washington retains “positive control” of its operational drone assets. The dispute comes as Iran maintains that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed and tensions with the United States continue to threaten a key global oil chokepoint. #iran #usa #hormuz #straitofhormuz #usdrone #irondrone #irgc #centcom #trump #iranwar #middleeast #oil #oiltensions #geopolitics #usmilitary #militarynews #breakingnews #worldnews #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.time
