Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay launched the ‘Thaai Maaman Thanga Mothiram Thittam’ at Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai on September 28. The scheme provides eligible newborns delivered at government hospitals with a one-gram, 22-carat gold ring.
