Wes Streeting has refused to comment on why a dedicated Ministry of Defence phoneline was not answered when a British farmer tried to call to raise the alarm to a potential terror threat. Counter-terror police are probing whether Iran is linked to an alleged bomb plot at RAF Fairford, which is thought to have been foiled when a local farmer called 999. On Sunday, five men were arrested on suspicion of terrorism and explosives offences after three suspicions vans were found close to the Gloucestershire base used by US forces. Questioned on GB News Breakfast, the Defence Secretary said he would not comment on why a MoD number was left unmanned, despite local residents being told it could be contacted 24/7. #Fairford #Terror #WesStreeting #uknews #GBNews Keep up to date with GB News at gbnews.com or on X @GBNEWS Become a Friend of GB News: gbnews.com/friend
