Greg Johnson asks us to think about the memories our families will one day search for when we pass away. With humour, urgency, and heart, he shows why printing photos and documenting ordinary moments may become one of the greatest gifts we leave behind. Greg Johnson is a storm chaser, photographer, and adventure guide driven by the pursuit of extraordinary moments. Featured on Netflix’s Tornado Hunters and named one of Canadian Geographic’s Top 100 Explorers, he is one of the few people on Earth to have stood inside the largest tornado ever recorded. Greg leads photography workshops and Camera Adventure tours across Canada and beyond, helping others capture images that matter. Author of four books, including the 2025 release Camera Canada: Seasons, he is fueled by wild weather, remote landscapes, and the stories they tell. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
